SOLIDWORKS Surface Modeling

SOLIDWORKS Surface Modeling Training

Surface Modeling teaches you how to build freeform shapes using SOLIDWORKS mechanical design automation software.

SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium: Nonlinear

SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium Nonlinear Training

This class will raise your SOLIDWORKS Simulation FEA skills to the next level! It offers hands-on experience using the SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium nonlinear module. The 2-day course overviews various nonlinear structural/mechanical analysis topics. You will learn how to deal with models that exhibit large displacements and yielding, discuss and practice the use of many material models available in SOLIDWORKS Simulation, and, most importantly, how to drive a nonlinear analysis to successful completion.

SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium: Dynamics

SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium Dynamics

This course is designed for users who would like to become productive in analyzing structures subjected to various types of dynamic loading. The material covered includes the time-dependent analysis (force loads and motion shock loading examples), harmonic analysis and random vibration analysis (MILS-STD-810F example), response spectrum analysis, and introduction to nonlinear dynamics simulation.

SOLIDWORKS Mold Design

SOLIDWORKS Mold Design Training

Mold Design Using SOLIDWORKS teaches you several manual mold creation techniques and how to use the Mold Tools in SOLIDWORKS
mechanical design automation software.

Network vs. Standalone

A Network license allows multiple users to share a pool of licenses across a network, while a Standalone license is tied to a single computer and can only be used by one user at a time.

  • If you are a sole user or prefer to have dedicated licenses for each machine, a standalone license will likely be the best option. However, for teams that need to share licenses across multiple users or locations, network licenses offer greater flexibility.

Term vs. Perpetual

With a perpetual license, you own the software and can use it forever, while with a term license, you only have access to the software for the duration of your subscription period.

  • If you have stable design needs, a predictable budget and want to own the software outright, perpetual is your best option. For companies with fluctuating project needs who want lower upfront costs and flexibility to adjust their software usage, term licenses are your best option.
