Engineering Software Configuration
The first step to purchasing SOLIDWORKS software for government agencies is to contact Design and Process for a Requirements Consultation. The SOLIDWORKS software line has over 500 part numbers. Design and Process will work with you, your Information Technology Lab/Group, and your acquisition group to determine the best configuration to accomplish the engineering requirements, workforce education, and implementation within your hardened systems. Budgetary Proposal
In the second step, we’ll provide you with a budgetary proposal within four (4) business hours.
We will contact you to ensure that the configuration proposed meets your engineering design requirements and is within your budgetary constraints.
We will then provide the software and services configuration to Lyme Technology Solutions the prime contract holder for SOLIDWORKS software government purchases. They will give you an official budget quote based on the purchasing contract vehicle used. Lyme Technology Solutions is a certified SBA HUBZone firm that is the sole source contract holder for SOLIDWORKS under GSA, 2GIT, NASA SEWP, and DoD ESI.
Acquisition
In step three, your acquisition group will go through its standard practices for bidding and purchase. We have provided information below on the government BPA contracts to purchase SOLIDWORKS products and services.
Fulfillment
In the fourth step, Design & Process will place the order from Lyme Technology Solutions and provide the serial numbers, installation instructions, and support contacts for new licenses to the end user or designated IT group. Purchased Training, if any, will be scheduled with your organization’s training coordinator for the personnel identified.
Ongoing Subscription Services
Design & Process provides ongoing technical support for the period of software support purchased through Lyme Technology Solutions.
All designated “users” of the licensed software may contact our technical support team by phone or online.
Subscription services include all technical support, software upgrades, patches, and installation of new licenses and upgrades.
Design and Process Government Subcontracting Services
Design and Process LLC is a small business subcontractor for Lyme Technology Solutions. Under the Lyme Technology Solutions contract vehicles detailed below, Design and Process provides pre-purchase consulting, budgetary pricing, software license fulfillment, software support, and training instructors and materials.
